Caitlyn grew up in a home in Frankfort, Kentucky. Built in the 1800s, the family home was a living embodiment of the age-old artistry of carpentry and traditional homebuilding. Over the years, she watched her father restore the home as her mother filled it with antiques and collectables infused with meaning.

Surrounded by her home’s history, and immersed in Frankfort’s unique historical influence, Caitlyn developed a deep appreciation for design and the beauty of homes that hold stories.

Constantly re-arranging and organizing her room as a young girl gave her a feeling of accomplishment, peace, and renewed energy, instilling in her the belief that the way a space is designed has the power to make a profound impact on the way we feel, think, and behave.
